You know that your car is almost paid off when your finance company sends you free tickets to the local auto show. I hope you enjoy some highlights from the 2013 Charlotte International Auto Show.
I am in no way a car enthusiast but like most guys I am fond of cars so I enjoyed seeing a lot of these cars from the past. Here are some of my favorites.
As you can see, there are lots of cars.
If you can’t find anything to get me, I’ll take one of these…
Here’s the first Corvette they had on display…
…and here’s the new one for 2014. What I didn’t like is that the history of the Corvette was hidden behind the other cars making it difficult to enjoy them.
I have always been fond of the BelAir fins.
Of all the historic cars they had, this is my favorite.
Now back to the show. Here’s the highlight of the show, a Ferrari 458 Italia. It can be yours for the mere price of $310,000, this beauty can be yours.
I’ve always been fond of the sleek looks of the Maserati.
I was also intrigued by the look of the Morgan.
Here’s a side view of the Morgan. At a going price of $62,000, it’s too steep for me.
I could have tried to win this but I didn’t try…
I always have loved the look of the Genesis.
Some BMW shots, a popular car with an assembly plant near the Charlotte Metro area.
She would be happy to tell you anything you want to know about the Tahoe XL.
I am still fond of the looks of this classic.
Lots of drooling over the new Corvette.
If I had my choice, it’d be this slick Camaro.
I’ve always been fond of the looks of the Jaguar, too.
…although I much prefer the sports couple to the sedan.
I really like the accent to this VW.
I asked for this Porsche coupe and was promptly denied it. It carries a small price tag of around $95,000.
Despite their boxy shape and lack of any real styling, I am still a fan of Range Rover.
Nissan’s sport car offering, the 370 Z.
…followed by a super cool Mustang pool table that would look GREAT in my man cave.
Happy camping!
